People need to be able to label multipoint features in their web apps. I don't understand how ESRI can overlooks functionality to one of their core geometry types. This is crazy. I'm not sure how I am going to move forward replacing our WAB app with ExB when the points will not label.
The bug was submitted 4 years ago. 4 years! https://support.esri.com/en-us/bug/labels-on-multipoint-layers-do-not-display-in-the-new-m-bug-00013...
hi Jw,
I have not come across this one yet,
did anyone give you some workarounds to try?
hosted agol vs enterprise feature class?
labeling setup in Pro/maplex first?

@BillFox The only work around I can think of is to convert to simple points with no symbology, label, and add them as an extra layer in the service. No popups, just there to label.
I ran across this yesterday for the first time. I realized some of my points weren't labeling in the ExB app I'm creating to replace our WAB version. It appears to be JS 4.x issue, as multipoints will not label in the new map viewer, or in ExB using the old map viewer.
Running into a similar issue... but with multi-part polygons. There's only one label per feature and the if that label location moves off the map frame, there's no label at all and even when that label is on the map it's not clear why certain polygons don't have a label. Really need to have the option to 'label all parts' ... also the cartographic trick won't help in our custom app b/c we change the label based on user workflow or situation. Also new features are being actively added so it would be pretty complex to constantly generate single-part label points.
This was also 4 years ago and go no response:
@FredSpataro Our WAB app also only shows one label per feature for our multipoints. We really need multi part feature labeling. Perhaps @ScottSandusky and his team can help. They added multipart feature editing to the new #ArcGISWebEditor!
