Is it possible to use custom web styles (especially vector symbols) in ArcGIS for Power BI maps?

If not (perhaps it is a limitation of Microsoft's SDK), I would love to be able to use vector symbols in maps in Power BI. Vector symbols scale much nicer and it would allow the use of custom web styles shared to our portal, which is important since the standard set of image-based symbols don't always have what I need.

Hi @JCable,

Thanks for your question! To style a Power BI data layer and change the symbol, you will need to go to 1. Layers and choose Style options.

2. Select Location as the symbol type and then go to Symbology.

3. Click the Shape drop down and you will see a Basic dropdown.

From here, you could choose different symbols.

Here's the documentation on how to apply a style

Please let me know if you have more questions. Thanks!

Thanks, but I'm asking specifically about custom styles/symbols.

@JCable - I see! Currently we don't support this. I will move your post to the Ideas Forum to get improved!
