If you are not already using the ArcGIS for AutoCAD bonus tools you need to be... They include tools for working with blocks, labeling features and calculating field values. You can find them here for free on ArcGIS Online. Keep checking for updates. There have been three updates already this year.
Hi Don,
I've just been trying out the Feature Linked Labelling commands. Is it possible to label features by subtype (i.e. layer as it appears in AutoCAD) or a query, rather than creating labels for all the features in a feature class at the same time?
Thanks,
Karl
Karl, Sorry no. That is a great suggestion and I'll consider that in a future revision.
My thought is that it should then honor the current settings on the ribbon when you label, right?
Don,
Everytime I try to use the make map mosaic command it throws an error using an image service:
"There are no valid Map Services In the Drawing: Add one then Zoom to valid MapService View."
I have the image service added successfully and am at a large scale - any ideas?

Gavin,
A quick look at the AutoLISP sample and it looks like I simply failed to implement it for Image Services. (the tools are just samples after all.)
If you or someone you know is proficient in AutoLISP it shouldn’t be too hard to update the code to add the image services capability.
Or you could wait for me to update it, can’t guarantee when that might be… ☺

Don,
No problems I’ll wait for you – I’m not proficient in AutoLISP and don’t know anybody that is.
Your video on youtube shows you exporting imagery using these tools though….. So you may have implemented it at some stage unless that is imagery coming through a map service….
Many thanks for the quick response
Gavin

Gavin,
The video was using Esri’s Global Imagery which is actually a Map Service, even though the content is imagery.
I have to update the code to also accept the Image Service objects not just map services.

Hi Don, I would like to use the mosaic tool, however I'm getting the following error
; error: no function definition: ESRI_MAP_GETCURRENT
ACAD 2021
arcgisforautocad400-2
Any thoughts
Thanks
