I have had the same question about how to make this a dynamic display of points. After reading this post https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/intuitive-consistent-wording-for-quot-display-xy/idi-p/1190863 Note: The three options above are not to be confused with the "Make XY Event Layer" GP tool, which creates a dynamic event layer, not a feature class. I realized that if you run the Make XY Event Layer gp tool then it adds the points tot the map and updates on the fly and not create a new layer but just displays the points. No need to schedule a script to run to update.

From what I can tell there must not be a property to describe the state of the check box. That is all I am looking for. I have another route I can go but if there was this option then that would make it easy.

Yes action will be taken. Mostly an email will be sent to notify of the issue. If it is intended then at least he will know I am watching 🙂

So I have a co worker that does some database administration stuff and he sometimes forgets to check the box to allow connections. I just want to have a quick little script that checks if he left it unchecked or not.

Is there a way to have a python script check if the AcceptConnections tool is set to True or False? arcpy.AcceptConnections(admin_workspace, False) I need to check what the current state is in the enterprise geodatabase?

Once the processing of Drone2Map is done processing or there is an error, it would be great to have an email notification to alert me. That way I do not need to keep checking up on it to see if it is done. I know that there is a small notification that pops up on my screen for a few seconds, but most of the time I miss that. If I do get an error it would be great to have that in an email with a link to the help documentation on what it means and how to fix it.

I just tried this on 2.3 and it was not letting me add the widget to the map and configure it. I just changed the name of the folder from "esri-wab-widget-google-analytics-master" to "GoogleAnalytics" in the WebAppBuilderForArcGIS\client\stemapp\widgets folder and all seams to be working now. -Stan

Adding text after the "?" like "?ver1.1" is suppose to tell the browser that there is a new version of the file and should grab it. If is is the same file name the browser keeps a local copy to make things faster. You could set up some code to add a time value after the ? so every time you open the web page it will be a new file name for the javascript file. By adding the ver1.1 it just allows you to control when you want the browser to update the needed files. This sounds like it should work, but like I said before I have not got this to work for WAB yet. unless someone knows how to do it.

dafiter, Yes I know that it does fix some of these issues. I have not had a chance to update this post. I was also waiting for the next dev version to come out. I am guessing that you would need to have your point select your parcel and then use those extents to create the buffer from. Thats just off the top of my head. -Stan

kmsagis, I have not understood completely the TOS for dual maps and Google maps. I know this widget works for my needs. It looks like Dual maps is compliant with Google maps. So it does work the way you described above by passing the click lat/long of the esri api to dual maps and then dual maps grabs the streetview.

I have not tried this but couldn't you turn on the My Location Widget to get your GPS location and then turn on the NearMe widget and select your location on the map to get results? -Stan

I think I just realized what you were asking about the geocoder. In your web map on AGOL you can set up default searches for your web map for features in your map. The different searches can be seen when you click on the drop down arrow on the left of the search bar. Also you could create your own custom locator that can search (geocode) by features. Then add that locator to your organizations list of locators and it will show up in the drop down list by the search bar too. Hope that helps some. -Stan
