Kriging issue - not using all my data points

Hi,

I am using kriging to interpolate groundwater level data.  I have georeferenced x and y coordinates, and my z coordinate is the water level.  However, once I produce the kriged dem, not all of the z values are being used.  Any idea what this problem could be?

Thanks,
Leah

How did you determine that the software isn't using all your points?

For example, I have z values between 44.7 and 359.7.  When I perform the kriging function, the values displayed are only between 115.85 and 259.94.  It will not allow me to manually change the kriged values.

I have an error message that says, 000957 : Skipping feature(s) because of NULL or EMPTY geometry.  I have played around with changing the search radius to no avail.

When you talk about the output being between 115.85 and 259.94, is that from a raster or a geostatistical layer?

Next, check how many data points have Null values or empty geometry.  Any point with Null values or empty geometry will not be used in the calculation.
