We are currently doing a high availability installation of ArcGIS Enterprise and keep running into a few installation issues with the joining of the portals. We are using an ArcGIS Enterprise Advanced License to license both portals but keep getting the following error:

The two machines are licensed differently. Ensure both machines use the same level of licensing

The only problem here is that we are using the EXACT same license on both machines which used the exact same setup. Could anyone offer some suggestions on why this might be happening as well as assist in helping chart  a solution for the same?

You may want to covert the post to a question instead of a discussion.  You will most likely get more views/responses. You should be able to do this from the Action menu in the upper right corner.

Thanks Rebecca. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an option to do so. The closest action that gets to that is the Move option which basically means moving to a different space. Perhaps I am missing a privilege? Not so sure.

You should have the privilege on your own post...but sometimes the convert to question is only availabe for 15 minutes after.  A moderator of this site can do this, but I'll also tag CCatania-esristaff

Besides getting more views and responses, you can mark helpful comments, and eventually close the thread by either marking a correct answer or "assumed answered" of no resolution but just need to close it.

Thanks, Rebecca. I have converted this to a question.

On each machine, can you open the keycodes file under C:\Program Files\ESRI\License<version>\sysgen and confirm that the authorization number, expiration, etc is identical between the two machines?

Thanks for your reply Jonathan. This was actually one of the first things we did. Everything is identical within the keycodes file, up to and including the License file number, date of expiration and the products listed. This is why we are quite baffled.

You may need to give tech support a call so they can check it out.

I have currently logged a case on My Esri but the response is quite slow, unfortunately.
