I have been working on a few custom widgets for the Web App Builder, but I would like some input as to what widget/functionality people are wanting most.
The WAB has several great OTB widgets but what (realistic) widgets are missing and would be (in your opinion) great to have?
Create a new Feature Service from Selection/Query widget.
I think this would be a great widget, would offer a ton of options when working with data.

Brian Baldwin, Esri Inc., Lead Solution EngineerImport Shapefile and Data Extract would be awesome to have also.
I second that motion. I was thinking along the lines of a "Clip, Zip & Ship" widget.. preferably along with the option to export as SHP,CAD,GDB, etc.. But I also like the idea of a temporary import SHP,CAD,GDB also..
I would like to see the Weather RADAR widget. I believe that all the other widgets you have created have been defined by other users.
Thanks for all you do!

Matt Driscoll has put some widgets together that may be just what you're looking for.

I have had the radar loop layer from weather underground on one of my sites since back in API 3.3 with this, though it is internal so I can't link to it.
Actually, great idea. This is something I can actually do.
My next widget will be a weather widget. Kevin's Custom WAB Widgets
Hi Robert -
In finally beginning my task to migrate my large flex-based app, I was just thinking along the lines of a data extract widget as well. On the otherhand, if there is a geoprocessing task widget that I haven't come across yet, that obviously would work as well....
Thanks--
David
I asked the same thing... he pointed me in the direction of the geoprocessing task which is nearly identical as his flex widget. The geoprocessing task has been working well for me.
Oh great thanks Nicholas
HI Robert. Something I missed from the old FV was the generic Query Builder. Just to allow the user to build their own queries using layers in web map (or defined by config). Short of defining all layers, attributes and values in the eSearch, the generic query builder would be a great addition.
This is one widget I am after as well!
