Water utility editor tool

I have had problems using the downloaded water utility editing tools.  I have tried to follow the instructional video but the map is different than the one the lady is working on.  I also cannot select the parcels layer to trace a main line.  I have also noticed several other problems like create point feature is not listed under task.  Any suggestions to what may be going on would be greatly appreciated.  Looking to add some data for a rural county water system and just want to try and understand the water utility editor tool.

   I just posted an update to this template.  It includes the instructions for the end point line task.  This task was installed with the version you have, but you need to add it to the editor task list manually.  I am unsure what you mean about tracing from a parcel to a main line.  We included a toolbar called water utilities reporting that include trace tools.  These tools typically require an edge flag(click on the main) to preform the trace.
