Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this question, so if there's a better place please direct me.

I'm trying to install HEC GeoHMS 4.2.93. The installation fails and I get a message saying "Error setting registry value for PreLoadVBA: Access Denied". I searched my folders and could not find a PreLoadVBA file nor do I know where it would be written. I have full permissions for the ESRI folder and subfolders/files. I searched the Internet and found very little guidance. Does anyone know what might be the problem?

Sounds like a permission issue to the registry to me.  Either the key preloadVBA does not exist or you do not have permissions to change it.  Please try getting administrator rights to your machine and try the install.  Also, what version of ArcGIS do you have installed?

I am going to move your post to the ArcHydro forum, they are best suited to help you out with Hec GeoHMS.
