I have been trying to create the longest flow path per subcatchment. I already have a subcatchment file, so it appears the only steps I need to perform are the DEM Manipulation (I only did fill sinks - and I've tried it without doing this step, but it seems I get better results when I run this command) and then I use that output to run the Flow Direction. In Flow Direction, I use the subcatchment file as the Outer Wall Polygon (again I seem to get better results when I do this). Then I run the Longest Flow Path for Catchments using the FDR grid and my subcatchment file. I have ran these tools many, many times. I've ran just these, I've ran all of them under Terrain Preprocessing, I've ran different combinations, but even running just these few tools I end up with different results each time. But I now have a file that doesn't look too bad, but still quite a ways from what I expected. Sometimes it doesn't create the flow path all the way through the subcatchment, sometimes it doesn't create a flow path at all for particular subcatchments, sometimes it creates multiple flowpath for a subcatchment. What am I doing wrong? Is there anyway someone would be will to look at what its producing and let me know what they think about the results? Thanks for any input!
