Here is a really interesting bug for you. (Using the newest versions of both eSearch and Identify.) When you complete an eSearch with the option to 'add results as an operational layer' and then attempt to use identify the identify app hangs indefinitely. This is not unique to eSearch. This is true for any app that adds data as an operational layer (i.e. query).

I am currently using Web AppBuilder for my users to access the GIS. The World Geocoder limits lat/long searches to decimal degrees. Is there another geocoder I can add, or is there an alternate way, to search GPS using the DMS format? Using the developer version of WAB I have accessed custom widgets that support this. But I am trying to centralize searching to the main search tool. Thanks.

Is there an option to add Nautical Miles as a measurement tool? I love the tool. But we work with aviation based resources and I hate doing math!

I would like to add Bing Maps as a base map using the WAB Basemap Gallery Widget. Currently I have added it to my web map via AGOL. When referencing that map in WAB it loads with that base map intact and it is part of my gallery. However, this requires that the Bing Hybrid loads as default at start up. It also makes it a pain to manage my web map as I have to remember to add Bing each time before saving. is there a way to add it directly to the basemap gallery in WAB?

I figured out our problem. It is probably an eye rolling rookie mistake. One of the maps was referencing the layers on our web server and one on our app server. The ones referencing the app server didn't have the query limit restriction, the the ones referencing the web server did. I was referencing our web server when adding the layer URL manually.

I thought that initially. But I duplicated the template, switched the web map, and rebuilt the queries and the same issue has occurred. I even used AGOL and the issue occurs there. It is very weird: 1) If I add the web map layer directly from Map A it works just fine (query over 8000 records and they all appear) (TRUE FOR MAP A ONLY) 2) If I add the same layer above using a service URL it limits the results to ~250 records (TRUE FOR ALL MAPS) 3) If I add the exact same layer but using a different web map it limits the record size to ~250 records (TRUE FOR MAP B ONLY) 4) If I add a public layer from ARC GIS Online it works fine (TRUE FOR ALL MAPS) The above is true for ALL tested layers. It isn't isolated to a single layer. I have compared the layer info from the two web maps. They appear to be identical. 1) Linking to a service URL (rather then adding directly via map) on our server causes the results to be limited to ~250 2) The results off all layers in Web Map B are limited to ~250.

I am experiencing a strange error. On one map I run a query but I receive a Query Failed error if the results exceed a couple of hundred results . But on a second map (using the same instance of WAB Developer) I can run exactly the same query without receiving the error. Is there a map setting I am missing that defines the total number of results?

Thanks Robert My operational people want to support "fuzzy search" where the results narrow down as the user types the location. They aren't actually opening the drop down list. But in essence the list functions that way as the nearest match appears as the person types. I will just use straight values. Thanks again for the quick response.

Quick question. Is there a server setting somewhere that increases the number of results available on the Unique drop down list?

They are stored on our file server. It looks like I will need to move them to a web server if I need to access them via an http link. Thanks for the info.

I am trying to link a pop-up in ARC GIS Online to a locally hosted HTML document. I have tried both of the following: file:///C:\Users\khatch\test.html file://localhost/C:\Users\khatch\test.html If I manually put either of the above in my browser the document opens. However. when I add that as an image link in the pop up (either in the pop up media or in the customer attribute editor) nothing happens when I click on the pop-up. When I right click and open in a new tab I get "about:blank" in the address bar and nothing appears. I have tried this in both Chrome and in IE. Any suggestions?
