I'm not wedded to using Jewelry Box. Is there a template that works better with the option to hide the pop-up on startup?

I caused my own problem by not reading your instructions all the way through. I was using the Foldable theme, so the behavior I wanted wasn't going to work. I switched to Jewelry Box. I have a different question for you, though. I have the widget set up with "Close this widget on widget startup" checked. That keeps the side panel closed until someone clicks on an item in the map with a pop-up. However, the Attribute Table still slides to the right to leave space for the side panel. Is that how it is designed to work? Here's the test site that I'm working on, so you can see what I mean: ArcGIS Web Application

I just downloaded this widget this morning, and it appears that the widget version that I downloaded (2.13) has the bug described as "issue where the tab theme in WAB 2.13 would not open the popup panel" when implemented in WAB Dev version 2.16. That, or I downloaded the wrong version of the widget. I downloaded the one here: Help?

And by "soon" you mean today! Thanks, as always. I deployed the updated widget and it's working great.

I have the Results tab disabled in this widget and the Coordinates tab set as the Initial View. After I enter a coordinate pair and click Locate, the widget window goes blank. I am assuming that this is because there is an onClick setting on the Locate button that tells the widget to open the Results tab, which is not available. Is there a way to disable that action so that after clicking Locate, the active tab stays open? Screenshot from before clicking the Locate button: Screenshot from after clicking the Locate button:

I appreciate the two of you going through this because I was able to copy those changes and make it work on my web app! I do have a follow-up question: the pop-up from the layer only appears if I get a hit from the first geocoder in my Search widget. Is there a way to tweak the code so that it will also display the layer pop-up if the search results come from the second or third geocoders in my list?

I am missing something with the existing CSS or maybe the JavaScript that is reserving a lot of whitespace This is what I created for the CSS styling on my custom text: .widget-eLocate .eLocate-KDHE-instructions {
min-width: 100%;
vertical-align: top !important;
float: left;
position: relative;
} But in the widget itself, there is still a ton of whitespace is reserved. That pushes my text so far down that you have to scroll to view it. I can't find any CSS that is adding a lot of margin or padding, so I'm thinking it's something in the JavaScript code that I am still too green of a JS programmer to see. I deployed the app (still under development!) here: ArcGIS Web Application

The screenshot is from the Flex app that I am migrating to WAB. I don't feel the need to have the widget in the middle of the code - I think I can put all of the text underneath without upsetting the client too much. Should I put my text after the last </div> tag? When I tested that yesterday, the text went to the very bottom of the window. Perhaps I need to add some CSS styling to get it to align at the top of the empty space?

Hi Robert! I'm looking for a way to use the blank space in the eSearch widget to add in some informational text for the web app I'm using it in. I've found a couple of inelegant ways to do it (add basic HTML to the bottom of the widget.html code; add a label to the strings.js file and call it in the widget.html code). Do you have a better recommendation on how I can insert some text into that blank area? I'm trying to migrate an old Flex app into WAB, and the client wants it to look as close to the original app as possible. Here's what the old version looks like:

Hi Robert -- I'm having a hard time finding the spot in the code that controls which tab in the eSearch widget opens by default. I'd like to change the default so that it opens to the By Shape tab instead of the By Value tab. Can you point me in the right direction, please?

I just downloaded the new Experience Builder ver 1.0 for developers and have created a starter site. In Web AppBuilder Developer Edition, you can download the site you create and then Import it for editing on another machine. Is there a similar experience for Experience Builder? With working remotely, I am often switching between computers and need a way to transfer what I've done on one machine to another machine.

In the ArcGIS Online version of Dashboards, there is a List widget that gives you the ability to display the rows from the attribute table in a user-friendly format. This widget is not available for Web AppBuilder. I've been hunting for the widget as a download so that I can use it in WAB Developer Edition, but have not found it anywhere. Does anyone know if it exists?
