Is there any way to modify this solutions to only expand the Map Service, not the legend part? I would like my users to see what layers are in the Map Services without them needing to expand the layer but I do not want the legend for each layer to be expanded. I am aware of the possibility to add each individual layer from my Map Services but this is not preferred as I would still like to keep things grouped by each Map Service.

This enhancement does not seem to work with WAB version 1.2. Looks like the code for the LayerListView.js has changed a bit compare to version 1.1. On the initial load the Map Services seem to be grayed out appropriately but the sub-layers that are listed within the Map Service are all grayed out all of the time. Zooming in and out does not update what should be grayed out either. Any chance that there is an updated version for this enhancement? Regards

Does anyone else have any issues with displaying attachments in the attribute popups when using the Local Layer widget? I have a Dynamic Map Service with a layer that has attachments. The Show Attachments box is checked but I still do not see any attachments in the popups. If I use a Web Map from ArcGIS Online with this Map Service then the attachments show up. Any thoughts?

Thanks Nick, I did change this and it does work for only displaying data in your current extent by default. However, if the data has a scale dependency and is not currently visible at that particular scale or is turn off in your layer list then the data is still listed in the Attribute Table. Ideally, similar to how the Flex version of the Attribute Table works, if a layer is not turned on then the tab for that layer does not display in the Attribute table and if the layer is not at the visible scale then no data for that layer displays in the Attribute Table(fields are greyed out and "Layer is out of scale range" is displayed"), see image below. Hope this makes sense. Regards

Does the Attribute Table widget limit the results when the layer's scale range has not been reached? Regardless of whether I am using a Web Map or Local Layers, my Attribute Table displays all features in that extent, even if the layer is turned off and not yet at a visible scale range.
