Dian, i think your post is a separate question about setting labels. Please create a new post for this if you are still not able to do what you need. Thanks Will

I think this post is old and has many unrelated issues (most of them point to the service end point not being available rather than a bug in the api). Please create a new post showing the exact issue you are facing and the code you are using. Thanks Will

Hi, I have already responded to another post that i think is related, but you should look at the composite symbol, i think this might do what you need: CompositeSymbol | ArcGIS Android 10.2.6 API thanks Will

No, a feature service contains many layers (consider these feature layers). The GeodatabaseSyncTask works at the feature service level so you can bring down many layers into many FeatureTables. By default, the default sync parameters we give you if you construct it with a feature service info will be set up to return all layers in the feature service. Will

Hi, I am not sure how you are zooming in, but calling zoomIn() should not recenter the map. Could you post some code? Will

Hi, Did you consider a composite symbol which includes text and marker symbol (as the background?). I think this might work for you, javadoc is here: CompositeSymbol | ArcGIS Android 10.2.6 API I hope that helps. Will

Hi Robert, Could you share more information on what you are trying to achieve please? You are right in saying that the existing Callout only supports one callout at a time. This satisfies the majority of use cases for using a callout. It looks like you are trying to show information (on a tablet sized screen?) for multiple features at a time. A screen shot or mock up of what you want to achieve (or what you have implemented using the CalloutPopupWindow) would help us understand what you are trying to do, so we can see if this is something we might want to support down the line. Thanks in advance. Will

Hi, Unfortunately you cannot add new FeatureTables to an existing Geodatabase object using the API. You have to either author these geodatabases in ArcMap or generate them from a feature service (using the GeodatabaseSyncTask). See this doc for the offline patterns we currently support. Create an offline map—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android | ArcGIS for Developers Thanks Will

Hi, Could you share the geodatabase with these problematic features? It looks like the geometry of the polygons in the tables are causing some problems... thanks Will

Hi, Is this the same question as Disable pinning of Map on Android so that zoom level remains fixed? You can implement your own MapOnTouchListener and set this on the MapView: https://developers.arcgis.com/android/api-reference/reference/com/esri/android/map/MapView.html You can override the onPinch... methods to get your desired behavior at specific scales. You set this listener on the mapview using the View.setOnTouchListener() method. I hope that helps Thanks Will

Hi, When you say the symbol has lost its "Font" information, are you referring to the value returned from the getSize() method? If so, are you saying that this property is coming back as a different value from the value you originally set on this symbol before you added it to the graphics layer? Thanks Will

Hi, Some Runtime products (Qt, .NET and Java) have an additional component called Local Server which they can deploy and use. This only runs on desktop platforms and is not available to android runtime developers. Local server allows the use of local services, the following doc has some more information (from the Runtime Java SDK Guide): Work with local services—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Java | ArcGIS for Developers I hope that helps. You can use a normal polygon for this, the composite symbol should make the vertexes of the polygon draw with the point symbol, the lines draw with any line symbol and the fill with the fill symbol. let me know though, screen shots would be great! w.
