Here is an update to what I answered in this thread where I mentioned we were considering support for x86 emulators. We are now in the early stages of testing on x86 devices/emulator. We are targeting this release.

You use the GeometryEngine.touches() method to detemine if one geometry touches another geometry. A simple example: Geometry baseGeom = new Point(-130, 10);
Polyline polyline = new Polyline();
polyline.startPath(new Point(-130, 10));
polyline.lineTo(-131, 15);
polyline.lineTo(-140, 20);
boolean isTouched = GeometryEngine.touches(baseGeom, polyline, sr); Where sr is a valid spatial reference for the geometries.

I am not able to reproduce with v10.1.1-u1. I did not try with v2. Did you update the sample? Use your own data? What version of the Android Support Library are you using? What device are you deploying to?

We have a sample in the SDK which from the sounds of it does what you are asking for. Have a look at it here.

Yunus, can you reproduce that consistently? I agree there should be any Signal 11's. If it is reproducible can you please open a support ticket? That way we can get all appropriate details and track this. Agreed! Please share the reproducible code here as well if you can.

Currently we ship with all native code in a single *.so file. You don't necessarily have to include both the /armeabi and /armeabi-v7a folders with both lib files. Depends on what devices you are deploying to and supporting. armeabi will work on all devices but will be a lot slower and won't take advantage of newer devices CPU capabilities. The package manager will only install the libraries from one of the libs/<abi>/ directory, depending on your device. So you can reduce the size by removing one of the libs/<abi>/ directories.

First, check the version Help > Install New Software ... Then click on "already installed" link in lower right hand corner. Version should be 10.1.1.201306271100. If version is correct, then ensure that your projects are updated to use the 10.1.1-u1 jars. Right click project and select ArcGIS Tools > Fix Project Properties. Now check if the Javadoc hover is working on your project. If you still have an issue, confirm your project has the updated Jar: Right click project and select Properties Select Java Build Path > Libraries tab Expand the ArcGIS for Android 10.1.1 classpath container entry Check the Javadoc location entry and confirm that it ends with doc.zip - api/reference - non modifiable If for any reason you still don't have the latest Jar, try removing the ArcGIS for Android 10.1.1 classpath container and re-add it: Right click project and select Properties Select Java Build Path > Libraries tab Select the ArcGIS for Android 10.1.1 classpath container entry and click Remove button. Click the Add Library button, select ArcGIS for Android Library Container and click Next. Click Finish to update your build path. Check if Javadoc hover is working and/or re-check the Javadoc location entry and confirm that it ends with doc.zip - api/reference - non modifiable

The issue is related to how MapView.recycle() handles releasing the OpenGL context. I believe this is a bug and will start looking into it and follow up when I have a workaround and/or fix.

There is an issue with your projects libraries as the InflateException implies missing dependent libraries. The Fix Project Properties workflow which Andy suggested should work. That feature checks native libs as well as classpath container to ensure the ArcGIS Android version is up to date with installed libraries. Some users have reported issues with this process and we have made some fixes to the plugin that address this in the next release. If you continue to have issues you can ensure all your libraries are up to date and set properly by following this manual process: Create a new project with the SDK ArcGIS Project for Android wizard Copy the native libraries from the new project to your existing project. E.g. $/<ProjectRoot>/libs/armeabi(-v7a)/libruntimecore_java.so. Keep in mind this file name changed at v10.1.1. Right click your project and select Properties Select Java Build Path > Order and Export tab Confirm that the ArcGIS for Android 10.1.1 classpath container is exported Now if you are using the Emulator you have to ensure that you set it up to work with OpenGL, ARM cpu, and are using Android 4.0.3 (API 15) and above.

We are considering adding x86 build for the emulator, but currently recommend testing and building on a physical device. I suggest submitting this request to ArcGIS Ideas.

Another question, I use Zone shape (TACGRP.MOBSU.OBST.GNL.Z) G*M* OGR---****X, I try to put Hostile Zone (zone paint in RED) but I get only GREEN zone no matter what parameter I put, PLEASE send me the SIC of hostile zone (in red) This is an obstacle that the standard states should be green. The following is taken from MIL-STD-2525C, page 37: 5.5.1.1 Standard identity. Standard identity refers to the threat posed by the operational environment object being represented. A tactical graphic may be black or off-white depending on display background, or standard identity may be indicated using color and/or text. If color is used, graphics denoting friend shall be shown in either black or blue. For other standard identities, colors should be assigned in a manner consistent with the standard identity of the associated tactical symbol. By default, a graphic denoting hostile standard identity shall be shown in red. If red is not available the graphic shall be drawn in black with the abbreviation â??ENYâ? placed on the graphic in at least two places. In addition, if color is available graphics indicating obstacles shall be drawn in green; otherwise, all obstacles shall be shown in black.
