One of my observation is If I configure few layers on my map, then the application loads immediately but in our case we need to configure 100 layers. If you see in the timeline of console, most of the time is taken by layer querying and popup configuration. Is there any best way of optimising the web map to get the better result? Secondly web app builder now supports jQuery, so why we are facing this problem?

Even if I don't use jquery, it hardly makes any difference.

Hello Everyone, I've created a web application on top of ArcGIS Portal and Web App Builder. Following is the URL: URL: Bhopal Smart Map My Web Map has around 100 Layers and have configured Pop up for all of them and have kept them off by default. The problem which I'm facing is my application takes lot of time to open. It will be of great help if any of you could debug and find the exact issue for this problem and the required workaround. Thanks in advance ! Regards, Akshay Loya

I have two feature classes (Eg. Building and Crane). Both have height stored in their attribute table. I'm first checking for space conflict as in if they are touching each other and secondly I have to check for height as in, Check if height of crane is less than that of building. How can I achieve this either by using model builder or python in arcmap. Thanks in Advance!

There will be only one condition mentioned above (between) and the same operators will be used. So I don't want user to select all those options. He will simply select field from a dropdown and in to boxes he will enter the value. Please refer to pic below.

Hi Everyone, I want to create model in arcmap using model builder for select by attribute. 1) I want to create a dropdown list for columns fields of the selected feature class 2) Write a dynamic sql expression as in: a) User will select column name from the drop down. b) User enters a value in a value box c) At a back end, SQL query is made based on above selection. Example: Select Features from School feature class having objectid >= 6 AND objectid <= 15. This is simply to make attribute query easy to use for the user. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance!

Hi , I'm trying to figure it out if there is any tool available on Arcmap which help to identify maximum number of polygons which I can fit in a Polygon. As in, If I've a Polygon of 30 Mtr, so tool should divide the 30 mtr polygon automatically to fit maximum possible number of other polygon of suppose 4/6 Mtr size. Please refer the attached image. And secondly is it possible to create polygon favorites of some size. When user selects that favorite and click on map, it will create polygon of that dimension automatically. Thanks!

Hello people, Thanks for making an efforts for replying. In my case there were two sets of feature class (Polygons). Both had some overlapping polygons and some were not overlapping. I had to get the intersection of both these files, as in area which is common for all the polygons. So my approach was: 1) Intersected both the files. 2) Union the result of above step 3) Convert it to Feature to Polygon 4) Polygon to Point 5) Than Using "Select by location" selected the polygon in which my centroid (Point) is lying. Though I'm getting the correct result. Please let me know if I'm following the right path, if not- what will be the best trick of doing it. Thanks and keep sharing - Akshay

Hi Andrew , Thanks for the detailed reply. It is making that intersecting part as separate polygon but than I have to remove the other polygon also. PFA image.
