Sorry for not mentioning them...I think I can not use field calculator at all.. I dont want to change the values that have letters, I need them to be deleted...

I need to exclude all values that contain any letter from one of the fields. Basically only integers should be left. What code (Python/VB) do I have to put in field calculator for that? Thanks!!!

Dan, I am new to Python, so I am bit confused what exactly I need to put in python. How I specify which feature class I want to edit and which field? I do not need decimals, just integers This code will be a part of a batch job so there will be other feature classes as well. Thank you in advance for your help!

I have a feature class and one of its fields is Route type. I need to exclude from this Feature class all Routes that have any letter in the value (my values are 1203,1234,123B, BB and etc) I should have only numeric ones. How can I do it in my Python code? Thank you in advance!!!!

In the results of the query I would like to show the field that has account number. For some reason the account number is shown with commas ( 123,456,789) instead of 123456789. In the pop-up configuration I turned off Separator and pop-ups are displayed right. The problem is with query results Thanks in advance!

I want to remove just the spaces. Some of the values should have zeros before them. The problem is that after calculation for the case " B" (three spaces before letter) I get "000B". It should become B, not 000B

Chris, it works but I get zeros for some of the values.. For example, before I had "B", " B", "000B2" After calculation I get: "B", "000B", "000B2" I don't want it to be "000B" For the rest of the records it worked fine

My values are padded with spaces. Sometimes it's "1", sometimes it's " 1" sometimes its "1 ". I need to remove all the spaces before, between, after, wherever they appear... Thanks!!!!

Thanks Brian, but I cannot export the join because the table is in SQL database in which I don't' have writing access. And in my understanding, if I export the join table to my file geodatabase, it won't be updated.

Brian, Did you mean export the layer? If I export it, it does not get updated. Because my layer is in file geodatabase and the joint table is coming from SQL Server
