@LindsayRaabe_FPCWA - I've reviewed the internals and I have not seen any Esri Support cases logged showing this issue. I would strongly suggest you contact Esri Support Services to create a case so it's logged and available to the ArcGIS Pro Dev Team. This is definitely not expected behavior.

In studying this question, I believe this is BUG-000169082 - The Append tool fails to match features correctly when two or more matching fields are used and the input and target datasets are in different workspaces. This behavior is not seen if the input and target datasets are in the same workspace.

No. March 1, 2026 is when ArcMap is officially retired per the ArcMap Life Cycle page here. ArcGIS Pro is not moving to the cloud and is a PC based software installation on your computer/laptop. The extensions used by ArcMap are the same extensions used by ArcGIS Pro. I hope this helps clarify your question.

@PhilLampe - best thing to do is to open the user.config file on the the old laptop, search for "RecentProjects" in the file and copy the data in the <ArrayofString> area and paste that into the same area of the new laptop. That way, you're NOT copying the entire contents of the user.config file from the old laptop to the new laptop.

@SunniBoulton - sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Besides what's offered in this community message, another option to consider is "exporting" your Pro project to a project package (*.ppkx) and import the package into a new project. In the new project, turn off the backup and see if you still see the slowness / unresponsiveness.

Hi @JamesTurner2 - apologies for the tardy response as I've been on vacation for 2 weeks. So I did some digging around regarding the CShareQueue stall timeout issues at 3.3 and found a few items to consider that helped other users. 1. In the case of one customer, it was determined that a dedicated GPU with current OpenGL support was missing on their system. Recommendation was to do update the driver or purchase a new OpenGL supported video card. based upon ArcGIS Pro 3.5 system requirements—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation 2. On your Windows PC, go to Graphic Settings, add the ArcGIS Pro.exe if not present and set the GPU preference to High Performance, toggle the Optimizations for windowed games on. 3. Disconnect the PC from the network and try to open the project. Although IF the *.aprx is on the OneDrive network, then clearly this would not work. Let me know what you discover - I'd be happy to assist further.

If all other user/machines are not at ArcGIS Pro 3.1.x and are at a higher release, then I believe it's this item from Esri Support Services cases: In ArcGIS Pro 3.1, one cannot access the attribute table of the sub-layers within a map service. This functionality was introduced at ArcGIS Pro 3.2. If possible, upgrade the user/machine from 3.1 to 3.2 or higher to have this functionality.

Run the Check Geometry GP tool to determine if there are any issues with the feature geometry. If so, run the Repair Geometry GP tool to fix these errors. 2. How To: Recover a Corrupted Feature Class in ArcGIS pro or ArcMap 3. If enterprise geodatabase, then it could be an incompatible environment - FAQ: What SQL Server Database Versions Are Supported by ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro? 4. So I think what's going on is you may be right-clicking on a tool (i.e. New Map in your screen grab) and as a result you see those 6 items. To move the QAT below the ribbon, left click the dropdown arrow on the right side of the QAT to expose the window. In the window, 75% down the list you'll see the command, Show Below the Ribbon.
