We are still in the process of moving Arc Hydro Tools to Pro. The best way to call the tools in pro is to use "import archydro" which is available with the most recent setups. You can try to type it in the Python window in Pro. Another way is to import each script. The issue with this method is for tools that have the same name in the core product (e.g. flowdirection or flowaccumulation). You may end up importing the core tool instead of the arc hydro tools. You can look in the tools to see how we are calling other tools (mainly calling the scripts for now) but eventually we will use import archydro. As a side note, the core is working on a tracing network (hydro network) that will allow performing the hydro network analyses in Pro. it should be available early next year. Christine

We are in the process of migrating/testing the Arc Hydro Tools from ArcMap into Pro, this is why you only see a subset in Pro. In addition, some of the capabilities needed to support the stormwater processes are not yet available in Pro (tracing our hydro network) and should be available at the beginning of next year. The performance issue seems to be caused by the joins. I have migrated the tool to Python and added it to the Arc Hydro Tools Python toolbox in versions 10.5 and later as well as Pro. Give it a try. The process should now complete in a couple of minutes. For big datasets, you may need to run in background mode to complete successfully (in foreground you may see the dreaded 9999 error otherwise). There can be only one drainage line in each catchment (exception would be nhdplus with very small lines). In your case, the issue seems to be the source data. How did you create the drainage lines? The input streams need to go from confluence to confluence. A stream cannot connect to the middle of another stream as it seems to be the case on your picture. You need to split the long stream at the location where the smaller stream connects. You will end up with 3 drainage lines and 3 catchments. Christine Dartiguenave Esri Water Resources Team

The issue has been fixed with the SDK only. The developers are aware that it is not working in Python and are looking into it. In my case, I had a simple point symbol to assign and the following steps managed to assign the symbology to my new layer: Add the lyrx file to the map: m.addDataFromPath(mysymbologylayerxpath) Get the layer's symbology: mysymbology=m.listLayers()[0].symbology Remove the layer from the map: m.removeLayer(m.listLayers()[0]) Assign the symbology to my new layer in the map: new_layer.symbology=mysymbology They are ways to update some of the symbology properties as well if needed. You can add a new field to your feature class, lengthkm (double) and calculate the field using Python expression as: !shape.length@kilometers! Then right-click the field and use Summary Statistics in Pro or Statistics in ArcMap to get the total length in km. You will need to do it initially to get the initial value and then recalculate the field when your updates are done (or use a lengtheditedkm field to put the updated length value after your updates).
