We do plan on supporting transactions, but we haven't been able to get to it yet unfortunately. Can you describe your workflow where it is needed?

No you cannot specify the directory to place the delta files. What sort of crash are you getting when trying to access the file? Can you provide the stack trace? Also, out of curiosity, what do you need the delta files for?

Yes, it is possible to accomplish what the sample does without using a webmap and instead adding layers programmatically to the mapview. The sample uses the webmap to simplify that part and reduce the code, but the functionality is not limited to just using webmaps.

Yes, 10.2.5 is compatible and works great with iOS 10. We will be updating the system requirements shortly to reflect this. As for Swift 3, yes, you should be able to use the SDK in swift 3. Note that the API is developed in objective-c, but thanks to the interoperability between objective-c and swift provided by Apple, it can be consumed in Swift code.

Starting with the Quartz release of ArcGIS Runtime and ArcGIS Server 10.4, you will have more flexibility when dealing with attachments. You could choose to not download existing attachments but still be able to upload new ones during sync.

Maxim, I haven't looked at your app (thanks for that by the way), but I want to provide a word of caution : don't trust all the leaks reported by Instruments. I have personally seen some spurious reports for code that I knew did not leak. A more reliable way to find leaks and unbounded memory growth is by doing generational analysis using the Allocations profile in Instruments. If what leaks is reporting is indeed true, then you would be able to easily observe the app's memory footprint (either in Instruments memory profile tool, or an XCode debug guage) increase significantly every time you start-stop-start-stop the location display. Can you confirm if you see that?

Is it possible you're tapping on the map to hittest the graphic before the graphics layer or other layers have finished drawing? I don't know if that would cause this problem, it's just a shot in the dark. If you have a repro case that can reliably produce the problem it'll be easier to troubleshoot.

Technically, the replica is created by the server, and downloaded to the device, not created locally on the device. And we haven't seen any issues where the field type in the replica does not match the field type in the service. Is it possible that you changed the schema of the database underneath the service, but the service didn't pick it up and so it produced this problem?

Is `MaltAntPl` a datetime field? When you say "device probably has a bad Date&Time and Locale setting", how is it bad? Whatever be the locale of the device, the datetime is stored in UTC in the geodatabase. We don't support altering the schema of the geodatabase on the fly. Replicas created from a feature service are tied to the db schema they were created with, and the definition of what data to include in the replica. You cannot later change the schema and expect existing replicas to continue working. Nor can you redefine an existing replica to update its schema or expand the scope of its data (for ex, the geographic extent, or layers, etc).

When you use a local geodatabase, you display features using a AGSFeatureTableLayer. This AGSFeatureTableLayer works with AGSFeatureTable which corresponds to individual tables & layers in the geodatabase. If you downcast from AGSFeatureTable to AGSGDBFeatureTable, you'll notice that there is a method `queryRelatedFeaturesWithParameters()` which allows you to get related records from another layer or table. This is equivalent to the online version `AGSFeatureLayer.queryRelatedFeatures()`. Note, for the related query to work offline, you must ensure that the local geodatabase does indeed include the related data. You do this by setting up the AGSGDBGenerateParameters correctly. The param contains an array of AGSGDBLayerQuery objects which decides what data to include for each layer/table in the geodatabase. If you have a layer A related to layer B, then you must include an AGSGDBLayerQuery object for each layer so that their data is included in the generated geodatabase.

Hmmm, that's an interesting use case. I'm not certain that this will work - but mabye you can modify the popupinfo you use to not contain any fieldsInfos. That way when you display it, it will not list any fields. Furthermore, after displaying the viewcontroller, you can call startEditingCurrentPopup() on it as soon as the VC is displayed away to put it into editing mode - that way users will only able to edit attachments.

Q1 - we don't have any limits on the number of mmpks you can use. PS - what do you mean by reference MMPKs in a document? Which document do you mean? Q2 - I think same layer instance cannot exist in two maps. Either remove it from the first map before adding it to the new one, or make a copy of it. Q3 - Yes, this should be supported Q4 - There are 2 things at play here - a UIView backgroundColor (which the mapview inherits because it is a UIView), and a MapView background, which takes precedence over the UIView backgroundcolor whenver the mapview has a map to display. The mapview background is of type AGSMapBackground, and by defauilt, it set to black. So when you open a map with no basemap, the mapview background will be displayed (the UIView backgroundColor will only be displayed if mapview background is set to transparent). To change the mapview background, change properties on the AGSMapBackground instance and set it back on the mapview. Now when you open a map without a basemap, it should display your mapview background

>however, if I group the polylines in a layer group, or if I include both the polylines and the points, the resultant mmpk file crashes. This would be enough for us to investigate. Can you provide a mmpk for each case? >In addition, the working mmpk files are imposing a background that I don't think I defined. I don't have a basemap layer in the mmpk, and my assumption is that the layers would draw on top of the background color defined for the view. However, the SDK is drawing a black background instead. Your assumption is correct. There may be a bug which is turning the background black. Can you provide this mmpk too?
