Hi Mark, I am back to the square one. I am trying to accomplish the same thing (add a specific support layer to each tab) but with the new Shortlist (Beta) template. Have you seem any one doing anything like that. Thanks, Nataliya

This is great. We were looking for this solution for so long. I was able to implement this trigger. And it works great. I do have one question, though: if I edit an existing record in my attribute table the trigger assigns a new sequential number to that record? I am probably missing something in the trigger? Mark, I am having an issue with the NUMBER field as well. I have a "NUMBER" field in my layers, but I cannot get shortlist app to use the "NUMBER" field, it's using the order the feature was added to the table. My data is SDE (SQL). Thanks,

Thank you Jake. Is there any other way to auto-generate sequential number in a feature class, without setting "IDENTIFY" property on the column through SQL?

Jake, Do you know if the most recent version of ArcSDE supports column with IDENTIFY properties? I was just trying to set it up, and when I tried to edit my data in ArcMap I got the same error that you were talking about four years ago . Thank you, Nataliya

Thank you. My co-worker mentioned that he could probably do something like that with python. I was hoping to do it interactively in the pop-up without modifying my schema, but if I don't get anywhere with html/javascript, I might have to go python route.

In the ArcGIS online map I would like to customize the pop-ups to show only specific data from the attributes. The map I am working on shows parks, and in the pop up window i would like to list available amenities in each park. The problem is that in the attribute table each amenity correspond to the specific field, and the values are Yes/No for the amenities (image from attribute included below). I know what I am trying to do, but I don't know how to accomplish it: Basically I would like to write the HTML 'if/else' statement in the pop-up, do the following: example: if 'Camping Available' = Yes return 'Camping' else return (nothing) I would have to do it for each field. I don't know if anyone has done it with the pop-ups in ArcGIS online, but I would appreciated any suggestions. Daniel, thank you for looking into it. I got it working. First, I resaved each layer in ArcGIS online, but it still would not work. Then I started removing "Sharing" from each layer. As I was doing it, I was also refreshing my open data site, and I started noticing (as expected) and layers would disappear from Open data site. Then I "Shared" all of all the layers anew with the "public" and with my "open data group'. And after refreshing my open datasite the layer start coming back, and then I was able to download the layers that had updates in them.
