If you want to show help in widget run time, you can just put your document in your widget and show the help link in your widget. But if you want to show help in widget setting page, there is no easy way for the current released versions. We'll make this more easy in the next release.

Depends on what you want to do, I have this suggestion: * If you want to create custom widget/theme, I suggest * Put the widget/theme under stemapp folder and use http://your host/webappbuilder/?id=stemapp to run and debug your widget/theme * Put your widget/theme in source control * If you need to do the deep customization of the created app, such as change jimu.js code, I suggest: * Use WAB to create a new app as a starter app, and use http://your host/webappbuilder/apps/<appid> to run and debug your app. * Put your app in source control.

"_34_panel" is this a correct panel id? I can not reproduce your issue, if I use a correct panel id, it works well for me if I put widget in widget pool. If I put widget in onscreen widgets, I need use setTimeout to open panel to avoid recursive invoke: setTimeout(lang.hitch(this, function(){ pm.openPanel(this.id + '_panel'); }), 1000);

The builder itself can connect to more than one portal, but only one can be used at the same time. For WAB app, it can connect to only one portal. So, for your case, I think you can connect to both private portal and public portal in builder. If you want to create a public faced app, you can connect the public portal using builder.

Hi Meg, From the console log error, I think the reason is that your portal is not accessible for the public user. I think you need to consult your IT administrator to check whether you can make your portal public accessible.
