The help is incomplete then. They appear to be relying on the supporting "Output coordinate system" as set in the Environments tab (my bad... forgot to check it too). So it isn't a change in behaviour and it isn't these bugs BUG-000128741: An error occurs when running the XY Table to Point t.. BUG-000129406: The resulting feature class is missing some of the a.. but a suggestion to make a table in a gdb makes other issues go away You might want to "Tech Support" since 2 recent bugs may mean not one else has flaggee it

XY Table To Point—Data Management toolbox | Documentation Strangely... I read that help topic that the default output coordinate system is WGS84, BUT if the "Input" coordinate is not that, then you need to specify it first. It doesn't say anything about projecting the data to your desired coordinate system. The default coordinate system of the output feature class is the geographic coordinate system WGS 1984. If the fields in the source table contain projected coordinates, specify the appropriate projected coordinate system. This, Make XY Event Layer—Data Management toolbox | Documentation doesn't offer an alternative to the Project tool step.

There are 60 zones north of the equator that are identical and 60 zones south of the equator that are identical (albeit, for a given datum). The 'relative' location of objects within a zone will remain the same, however, the central meridian of each, as you know is different. So, it really doesn't matter what you do with the data that are projected in UTM as long as you don't try to tie it into real world coordinates... which requires that the central meridian (in meters) is translatable to a longitude of the appropriate datum.

edges are treated differently since they can't had a 9 cell window. Which is why it is important to use an extent larger than you critically need and the data are available The edge treatment is correct given the window limitations along the edges and the corners.

You could simply remove the python installations through Windows Add/Remove Programs, then repair ArcMap/Pro through the same access point, but when you go to Remove it, you select Repair. Or it is probably the same as "transfering" a license just deauthorize it first How To: Transfer an ArcGIS Desktop license to a different machine

code formatting should be used /blogs/dan_patterson/2016/08/14/script-formatting If you are creating a featureclass, you need to specify *.shp if a shapefile is required and its destination is a folder, otherwise, you need to specify a geodatabase location. Also, you need to "raw encode" you paths if using a single backslash eg... r"C:\YourFolderPath\AnotherFolder\A_geodatabase.gdb" Create Feature Class—Data Management toolbox | Documentation

Since you undoubtedly have a university site license, students should be able to install a copy of ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro on their own machines. Your site manager can set up access for students for both. We have used that approach for quite a while now with minimal issues. Students can simply check the link Check your computer's ability to run ArcGIS Pro 2.5. on the help topic page. ArcGIS Pro 2.5 system requirements—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation I would venture returning to traditional classes in the fall may be a challenge in some areas. In Canada, summer courses are virtual and I am sure preparations are also being made in the event that that has to carry over into the Fall term (despite the terminally-optimistic opinions of some 'leaders')

Jimmy Knowles I saw the thread on GitHub, that Carlos closed.... tooltips, tab completion for imported modules work in console, but not editor · Issue #12451 · spyder-ide/spyder · GitHu… (arcgispro-py3) C:\arc_pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3>conda list jedi # packages in environment at C:\arc_pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3: jedi 0.15.2 py36_0 Version used in C:\arc_pro\bin\Python\res\pinned jedi=0.15.1=py36_0 I install with --no-pin in conda since Pro tends to be a tad slower in adopting new releases. I check and didn't seem to have any issues with scipy, numpy or linting, tool tips etc even with my own packages. I don't use tab completion so I can't help there. I also use numpydoc style as my preferred Code style syntax which renders well in spyder. I turn off Enable code completion to avoid all the popups and hovery things and I disabled Kite under Advanced You may have to mess around with settings a bit. python 3.6.9 numpy 1.18.2 I am going to mess around with spyder-notebook for editing notebooks within spyder since we have to mostly play indoors now I will post a blog when I am done. I will be interesting to see if the arcgis module behaves well there as it generally does in JupyterLab or Notebook. Spyder IDE · GitHub
