You can query the IDW layer for your threshold using the raster calculator. This will produce an indicator grid (ie, a grid of 0's and 1's) indicating where the threshold is met. You can then use this as a mask. In many of the analyses in NA, the point file will be either your origins or destinations. How far are the points from the network? Did you set up a search tolerance when creating the network?

Sorry Peter, trying to help without Arc* running. Use the Con tool in arctoolbox. It may be a double equal sign ( == for the equality check), try not to type the expression, select your rasters, the equality check etc when constructing the Con statement. Also, in the Environments tab, set the combined extent of the rasters to be the union of the inputs (or that of the DTM), make sure that the cell size is the same. Save the resultant raster to a folder (temp or otherwise) for testing purposes. If this doesn't work, I hope that someone with Arc* running will be able to wade in. Regards Dan

I guess I am not sure if follow. assuming that you want to keep the values of the river as 87 and classify all the nodata areas within that file to the values found in the DTM, then the con expression would be Con("River" = 87, "River","DTM") Otherwise, I have missed something simple in your explanation. Well I am looking at your data and indeed there are numbers there, but if what you have posted is correct, they are left justified, meaning the data are being represented as text...right-click on the appropriate field names, bring up the properties and specify numeric....if this isn't the case...never mind
