You should listen to the AGSMapView's notifications for this. Here the doc from above link... The map component also broadcasts four notifications - MapViewDidLoad, MapTimeExtentChanged, MapDidEndPanning and MapDidEndZooming. Observers interested in these notifications can register for them using the default NSNotificationCenter. It should just work. Try switching your location service on-off or device. Also, note that just doing "[self.mapView.gps start]" won't take you to the current location. You'll have to set the self.mapView.gps.autoPan = TRUE. Regards, Nimesh ... View more

Here is how you should get the information of current visible dynamic map service layer, - Get all layers in map from AGSMapView::mapLayers. - Loop through all the layers and check the type of AGSLayer as AGSDynamicMapServiceLayer. - Get the current visible layers indexes from AGSDynamicMapServiceLayer::visibleLayers. - if you want more information of that layer then pass index in the AGSDynamicMapServiceLayer:: mapServiceInfo::layerInfos.
