Yes, map view must be properly initialized. Are you showing open gl view on top of map view? If yes, you should create a custom initializer for the open gl view and pass already initialized mapView to it. Regards, Nimesh

The AGSMapView is a UIView and iOS SDK does not allow to add UIView to the UIWebView. So you can't do it. Regards, Nimesh

You'll have to check the type of layer and then cast layer to the respective type to get the URL. Like this... if ([layer isKindOfClass:[AGSFeatureLayer class]]) { AGSFeatureLayer *fl = (AGSFeatureLayer*)layer; NSLog(@"Feature Layer URL: %@",fl.URL); } Regards, Nimesh

You don't need openGL for this. UIView is enough for free hand drawing. Regards, Nimesh

You can create AGSMutablePolyline or AGSMutablePolygon (based on geometry you want to draw) and keep adding AGSPoint converted from each touch (UITouch). Here is the code of conversion. - (AGSPoint*)getMapPointFromTouchs:(NSSet *)touches { UITouch *mytouch=[[touches allObjects] objectAtIndex:0]; CGPoint touchPoint = [mytouch locationInView:self]; AGSPoint *mapPoint = [self.mapView toMapPoint:touchPoint]; return mapPoint; } Regards, Nimesh

The mapViewDidLoad fires when first layer is added to the map and map is being initialized with spatial reference and envelope. If you want to know when all layers are loaded then you should use mapView:didLoadLayerForLayerView: for each layer you are adding to the map. You can check when all layers are loaded (not drawn) and then do your further work. There is no mechanism to check whether layer is finished drawing in the map. Hope this helps! Regards, Nimesh

#import <ArcGIS/ArcGIS.h> should have fixed your issue not #import "ArcGIS/ArcGIS.h". Framework search path will take you to reach header file location but in order to use it, you must import it. Like the same way you do for any other iOS SDK framework (#import <UIKit/UIKit.h>). Hope this helps! Regards, Nimesh

You can't disable the pan/zoom of map. You should add a transparent UIView on top of it which will receive all touches and then you can convert those touch point into map point. Regards, Nimesh

The errors you see in the debug window are for fetching the tiles. Also, you are not able to see the GPS symbol. These indicates that there is a network issue. Check your wi-fi/3g connectivity. Regards, Nimesh

You can get the symbol of popup's graphic and set it to result features of cut. If graphic does not have symbol then you can get the symbol from renderer like this... AGSSymbol *symbol = [graphic.layer.renderer symbolForGraphic:graphic timeExtent:nil]; NSLog(@"symbol: %@",[symbol encodeToJSON]); Hope this helps! Regards, Nimesh

The ArcGIS application provides the functionality to measure the area and distance but it does not provide any tool to export that as JPEG. If you want that functionality then you should write your custom application using ArcGIS Runtime SDK for iOS. Regards, Nimesh
