Are you measuring map scale from self.mapView.mapScale property? The map scale is different on the device then what you've set in the tiled map service. It is directly proportionate to the dpi/ppi. Your tiled map service scale are calculated at 96 dpi but your iPhone and iPad dpi/ppi are 163 (non-ratina) and 132 (non-ratina) respectively. So the map scale on iPhone and iPad are "scale on level * 163/96" and "scale on level * 132/96" respectively. If you set layer's renderNativeResolution property to YES then it's going to be "scale on level * 326/96" and "scale on level * 264/96". So the request are being sent accordingly. Hope this helps! When you start sketching you set mapView' touch delegate as sketch layer (self.mapView.touchDelegate = sketchLayer). When you want to stop you should set it back to mapView's touch delegate (self.mapView.touchDelegate = self) and it'll go back to normal mapView touch mode. Also, go through sketch layer documentation. Regards, Nimesh

1. Which version of ArcGIS Server are you using? 2. I'm assuming based on information on thread so far that server is secured with token authentication. Is this HTTPS? or HTTP? 3. Could you please post the request/response information you captured (remove sensitive information). Regards, Nimesh

The error is not caused by ArcGIS Runtime SDK for iOS SDK but by Xcode. There are number of reasons why this error comes up. You can google the error for further troubleshooting. Here are few reasons... 1. Check all you product references are consistent in the settings and plists. Also check the product name does not contain a space or other "illegal" characters. 2. Delete the previously installed app (if old version is installed) from device. 3. Make sure that you've valid architectures set at project and target settings. Hope this helps! Regards, Nimesh

You don't need to uninstall v2.3.2 SDK. There are only few changes (few bug fixes to support iOS 6) between v2.3 and v2.3.2. All sample will continue to work with v2.3.2. If you are using Xcode 4.5 then you'll have to make one change in project which is mentioned in this doc under heading Update to v2.3. Since, you are new to development with Xcode and our SDK, I would suggest going thru conceptual documentation. Hope this helps! Regards, Nimesh

Could you please try adding your graphics layer first to the map? and then try to add the graphic? //add graphics layer first the map
[self.mapView addMapLayer:self.myGraphicsLayer withName:@"test];
//then add graphic to graphics layer
