Any word from you guys (ESRI) as to whether hooking up gesture recognizers is recommended or not? No, it is not recommended to hooking up gesture recognizers. If you do so then it'll interfere the functionality of map. In current SDK, there is no easy way to differentiate between programmatically panning/zooming the map and one actually touching and pinching the map. However, the next version of the SDK will have that functionality. Regards, Nimesh

No, unfortunately, there is no easy way to rotate graphics along with map rotation. We'll see if we can do something about it in the future. Regards, Nimesh

lookupFeatureWithObjectId will return feature only if it's available in graphics array of feature layer. Is that the case? If not, you must send query to get all the features from server and then go ahead from there. Regards, Nimesh

If you have any default values/domains set for that feature type then that warning message will appear. You cannot disable it. Regards, Nimesh

Hi Jeff, Your code should look like this... -(void) didSelectNewBaseMap:(AGSPortalItem *)BaseMapPortalItem { AGSWebMap *NewBaseWebMap = [AGSWebMap webMapWithPortalItem:BaseMapPortalItem]; NewBaseWebMap.delegate = self; } //webmap delegate - (void)webMapDidLoad:(AGSWebMap *)webMap { [self.webmap openIntoMapView:self.mapView withAlternateBaseMap:webMap.baseMap]; } Regards, Nimesh

Thanks for confirming. It's iOS SDK/apple issue. Since, your app is targeting iPad, you should show your popups in UIPopoverController rather than a modal view controller. You should implement popupsContainer:wantsToShowViewController: ofType:fromViewController:atRect: and popupsContainer:wantsToHideViewController: ofType: methods of AGSPopupsContainerDelegate and show each view in UIPopoverController. I got your point. We can investigate further if you capture the request/response. You should use tool like Charles Proxy or may be some other tool to capture it. Once, you have that, post it here and we'll look at it. Regards, Nimesh
