You can author your web map on http://arcgis.com or http://www.arcgis.com/explorer/ with whatever layers you want to add. The ArcGIS app only opens webmap. You cannot create webmap. Please elaborate your question for custom app so I can help you out with it. Regards, Nimesh

Hi Will, We spoke yesterday at developer summit. In sample, enclose your shapePreservingAreaOfGeometry:sketchGeometry with [sketchGeometry isValid] and it won't crash. if ([sketchGeometry isValid]) { // Get the area of the current polygon _area = [geometryEngine shapePreservingAreaOfGeometry:sketchGeometry inUnit:_areaUnit]; } We'll fix the sample. The scale is directly proportional to the DPI. The tiled layer you cached at 96 DPI and phone's DPI is different so the SCALE is different too. You should use AGSTiledMapServiceLayer's convertedScaleForLodScale: method to get correct scale on device. Then use zoomToScale and it'll zoom at correct level. Hope this helps! Regards, Nimesh

It's crashing because you are over releasing. Just comment out [MapView release]; as below and it should work. Also, you should convert your project to ARC so you won't have to worry about memory management. - (IBAction)btn_login_Clicked:(id)sender { MapViewController *MapView = [self.storyboard instantiateViewControllerWithIdentifier:@"MapView"]; [self presentViewController:MapView animated:YES completion:^ { NSLog(@"Login Finished"); } ]; //[MapView release]; } Regards, Nimesh

The center property is CGPoint of AGSMapView and is an inherited property of UIView so that you might not want. There is no center property on visibleArea. There is one on visibleArea.envelope.center, which is same as visibleAreaEnvelope.center. You should use center property of visibleAreaEnvelope. Regards, Nimesh
