I don't know if this is a question or a discussion. However, I'm not a big fan of this year's UC Schedule application. The technical level (difficulty) display of sessions is done through a color bar that runs along side the left hand side of the session row. There is no indication of the technical level in the session details or in the search results! If you find a session through search you have to favorite it so that it will appear on "My Schedule" and then go to My Schedule and then that day to find it.
Please add the technical difficulty to the session details page...
Could the Schedule / My Schedule be designed to use a smaller font. It's probably great to view if you have an ipad but not on a computer. Makes it difficult to print out. I know I'm showing my age
Also, it goes without saying but this system couldn't get any slower! Several times Chrome chokes and I get a Kill/Wait message from the browser.
New question, the agenda has been out for a couple weeks but are there additions / removals still going on?
I ask because two of the sessions I added to my schedule over a week ago are now gone.
Tuesday's "A Guide to Caching Services using ArcGIS for Server" and Wednesday's " Debugging Python Scripts" are both missing from the schedule and My Schedule. I tried the search with no luck...
Thanks
I would think we will see changes right up until the conference starts!
It would be nice if they could flag canceled sessions otherwise people who have already planned their sessions are going to show up at the time and place only to find out it's been canceled. Also, if they are added talks how are we do know without going through the whole agenda the Friday before hand? Again, if they are adding new sessions it would be nice to flag those too. After all, it's 2016 and a schedule application should be able to handle when the audience is 16,000 plus users. /rant off
As Curtis mentioned, they probably are still making changes...some might just be title or room changes if they find conflicts. I haven't seen the official email announcing the schedule being available (although I could have missed it) so until that happens, I figure all bets are off as to it being a final schedule. I'm usually an "early adopter " when it comes to scheduling too, and it has bitten me in the past. That being said, it would be nice if they listed "changes" as they may them. That would be good feedback to send them (usually a link at the bottom of the page..I don't have it open right now).
i have also noticed the search is having issues using Safari, but FireFox on the iPad works....although extremely slow. I haven't tried Chrome yet. but for those reading thing and using iOS, might want to try a different browser if you have issues with Safari.
