I would like to give my roads (line features) a z value along their length but I have read a few conflicting reports on how to do this (DEM in 3D analyst, TIN or contours)
Is there a simple and process inexpensive (doesn't take up all my RAM) that will allow me to get these values evenly spaced on my road network ?
