Anyone else getting a no signal error on Globe SIM & TM SIM? My phone suddenly stopped picking up a network, and I’ve already tried the basics — restarting, reinserting the SIM, and even checking it on another device. Still no luck.
Is this a network issue on Globe’s end, or could it be a SIM card problem? Would appreciate if anyone can share what worked for them when this happened.
A “no signal” issue on Globe SIM and TM SIM usually points to either a temporary network outage or a SIM-related problem, and your troubleshooting so far already rules out basic device issues. In many cases, this happens when there’s maintenance or downtime on the provider’s side, so the signal drops completely for a period of time. However, it can also be linked to SIM registration compliance—if your SIM isn’t properly verified under systems like DITO SIM Registration (or similar registration rules followed by other networks), the carrier may restrict or deactivate network access. Another possibility is that the SIM card itself is damaged or has expired, especially if it’s been used for a long time. If the issue persists even after testing on another phone, the best next step is to check for any official outage announcements or visit a service center to request a SIM replacement or reactivation.

This post discusses the "no signal" error on Globe SIMs, with users discovering that basic troubleshooting like restarting doesn't work—often because the SIM is unregistered and deactivated under Philippine law (RA 11934). Unregistered SIMs face permanent loss of calls, texts, and mobile data until you complete mandatory registration with a valid ID and selfie. So if your TM SIM has no signal, check your TM sims Registeration status online or via the GlobeOne app immediately
yeah looks more like SIM issue than network if already tested in another device. sometimes SIM get deactivated or lose network profile, you can try manual network select + reset network settings. if still no signal, replacement may be needed. Also make sure your Smart bro sim is properly registered and active, otherwise network access can stop: Smart bro sim
