Georeferenced and 508 compliant pdf maps.
I would like to post a trail map to a public web site for the public to down load into phones and GPS units.
However, for our web sites the maps have to be 508 compliant. The current method for making them compliant is to put them in a word document as a jpg and then exporting as a pdf. Will the geo-reference stay with the map?
Is there a way to add the information for the 508 compliance some other way for maps exported out of Arc GIS? When you place a cursor on the map on the web page you get a description of the map.
I search some but did not find a reference to this.

ESRI has a 508 Compliance landing page here: Legal Information | Accessibility and Section 508 that may help.
