Not sure if anyone else is having this problem. I have imported some of our organization's parcel editing data into an enterprise geodatabase and I am interested in changing the data sources in the Tax Parcel Editing Map Template to this geodatabase. When I right click and select properties -> Source Tab the "Set Data Source..." button is greyed out. How can I get my data into these layers? Do I have to recreate the layers based on the parcel fabric in my enterprise geodatabase? I've done this once but it takes a significantly long time. I understand that I may be doing this the hard way. If we have two data sources say for example a unique transactional edit version and a transactional default version it doubles the number of layers I have to re-create. I also need to write a how-to document to help users of this template change the data sources to their own verions. Please help!

Per ESRI Tech Support this is a known bug. Not sure when the fix will be rolled out.

This is a complicated one technically, but the Parcel Editing Team is working on it.

As for the workaround, have you tried using the "Set Data Source(s)..." option on the context menu for a MXD in catalog?  I believe this will work, it creates a copy of the MXD so that you don't change the original.
