I am interested in the timesclae that ESRI will support the new WFS 2.0 standard in there products.  We have been promised that they will support it in the next Minor release of ArcGIS 4 INSPIRE for a while now and would be interested to know is a time scale existed?

Roberto,

It's good to know that WFS 2.0 will be in 10.1 ArcGIS Server for INSIPRE. As far as core ArcGIS Server goes, the research and development work for WFS 2.0 in going on but it will be available in at least the next major release after 10.1.

Thanks

Has this standard been brought in at ArcGIS 10.2?

Any updates on this ESRI as the original question was asked nearly 2 years ago?

Hello All

Data Interoperability 10.2.1 will support WFS 2.0.0.

You will not have to license (i.e. pay for) Data Interpoerability to use the WFS reader.

Thanks Bruce.

What about publishing at WFS 2.0?  Is that in 10.2?

Thanks

WFS 2.0 is supported in our "ArcGIS for Inspire" product. We do not as yet support it in our core Server product. At 10.2, Server continues to support WFS 1.0 and WFS 1.1 only.

Thanks,

satish

That seems a little strange for the market leading GIS company to be behind on international standards in their core product.

There's no budget for buying extra tools in local government at the moment so we won't be buying ArcGIS for INSPIRE unfortunately.

Just seems a shame that we made a huge investment in ArcGIS server and still finding that we're lacking important capabilities.

WFS 2.0 will be supported in ArcGIS Server 10.3. The Data Interoperability Extension for Desktop already supports WFS 2.0.

Thanks,

satish
