Hi Lads

I have noticed that while using the Optimized Hot Spots Tool in ArcGIS 10.2, always when i am trying to use the method that produce fishnet / grid cell, it always turn to be in "disabled mode"  did i miss anything? does the field needs to be in a particular type? for example only integer / double etc?

Hi gudeso,

This is because of the Analysis Field. When you define anything to this parameter, you can't use other options. When you define a field, it calculates like hot spot analysis but you don't decide any parameters.

Then if you won't define anything, it calculates only spatial dispersion with fishnet polysons, aggregation polygons etc...
