I have point data, obviously, from which I'm trying to derive the spatial probability density. Kernel density estimation is what I've used before and works well, but the point data I'm using here represents 53 years worth of data. I want to normalize this into a per year probability, so that my final output is object / (length^2 * yr), or object per length squared per year. I can't seem to find a good way to do this. Any thoughts?
