I have shapefiles with bus route numbers, bus stop locations, students, and school districts. I have managed to associate all of this info into the polygon feature class for the school districts. Now I just need to count how many bus routes are in each school district. I feel like there must be a simple solution to this that I am overlooking. I can't do a spatial join because some of the bus routes venture outside of the school district to pick up students.
Similarly, I am also trying to create maps for number of students per bus route by district, bus stops per route by district, and number of students per bus stop by district.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
