I am using ArcGIS Desktop 10.1 with Spatial Analyst extension with Windows 7. When I try to use Spline with Barriers from ArcToolbox > Spatial Analyst Tools > Interpolation > Spline with Barriers I get an error message which is attached below:

I checked with Java and I have the latest version and no outdated versions on my computer.
I am trying to compare interpolation using IDW with interpolation using spline - the IDW interpolation works the spline with barriers does not.
