I am working in a 10.8.1 environment for Event Editor. I am curious if there are places to lock down some of the editing and retiring abilities.
For example, can we removed the "deleted highlighted records" from the attribute window.
Also, after editing can we set the "Retired Edited Events and Create New Event Effective Today" defaultly checked as well?
We have internal work flows for auditing that shouldn't allow any edits to occur without a retired tracking date.

There are a variety of settings you can configure for Event Editor. I'd recommend taking a look at this topic to see all the options that can be changed within the application.
