I hired this guy to make this script which splits the Natural Earth world maps up into individual countries. But I'm a bit concerned about the messy code - even though I'm not much of a programmer, I always try to make sure my code is as beautiful as it can be.
Having said that, can anybody suggest ways I can simplify it, or ways to achieve the stuff in the TODO list?
