Planned for the third quarter of this year, Esri Community will be migrating to a new platform technology better aligned with our users needs. This is an exciting and important chapter in the more than two-decade history of Esri's online community.
Our team is doing everything we can to make the migration experience as seamless and non-disruptive as possible; however, there will be a temporary read-only period for Esri Community directly before the official launch on a new platform. During that window of time, users can continue to access existing content as needed, but will be unable to post, comment, or use engagement features like giving kudos.
This is a necessary step in the migration process and is expected to last more than a week. Our team will provide more details about when the read-only period will begin once a firm date is chosen.
