OIC changed to OID?

Hello,

I've just started to fiddle with oriented imagery and a few questions have arose that I was hoping somebody could kindly clarify for me.

For one, most of the documentation I'm seeing while troubleshooting on google appears to revolve around an oriented imagery catalog (OIC). I am under the impression that this has to do with oriented imagery classic prior to integration with pro? "Create oriented imagery catalog" is missing from my geoprocessing tools, seemingly replaced with "create oriented imagery dataset." I've explored classic, and downloaded the addons necessary, though this tool still eludes me (it is quite possible I did not install the addons correctly, I rushed).

Similarly, the oriented imagery widget in experience builder request an OIC, though I was only able to publish my OID as an "oriented imagery layer" to AGOL, which the widget will not accept. The oriented imagery itself works great in pro and map viewer, but I cannot integrate this functionality with experience builder as a result of this widget.

My question is whether or not oriented imagery was changed significantly and perhaps the widget in experience builder has not caught up? Or if I should further pursue oriented imagery classic and attempt to just create an OIC and avoid the OID? The nuances of this subject are still unknown to me, and any advice for this situation is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hey @DanPatterson,

Thanks for the link; evidently I didn't look over this FAQ scrupulously enough. It seems the exp widget has not been updated for integrated oriented imagery products, still requesting a catalogue from classic instead, though it appears to be in the roadmap thankfully.

Thanks for the help Dan.
