Can't create oriented imagery view layer?

I can’t create a view of the oriented imagery layer, only the footprint layer. If the layer is shared with groups to capture more images through QuickCapture, how can we control which groups can edit and which can view only?

Hi Brandon,

I was able to create a view layer and it worked in Map Viewer as well. You need to browse to the Overview page of the Oriented Imagery Layer, and under Layer locate the Oriented Imagery Layer.. and click on the > arrow to the right of it.  Then you should be able to see the Option to Create view layer.  After that follow the steps as normal.

As far as editing is concerned... you can add the view to multiple groups. Each group can have separate permissions for editing or not editing.

Hope this helps.

When I try to create view under layer, inside "Create view layer" tool, only footprint layer showing up, not the "oriented imagery layer".
