Hi,

I load 217 000 pictures in an oriented imagery catalog classic to use it in Experience Builder.

When i run the exb, i see in tool dev browser a crazy thing : Exb oi widget fetch ALL exposure points before try display anything.

Browser use 6/7 Go of ram and crash.

Someone have yet used Oriented Imagery Classic with this volume of pictures ?

Thanks for your back

Rémy

I am also interested in this. We have over many millions of images which I am interested in using with Oriented Imagery. It works fine in a standard geodatabase where each image is simply a feature point with an attribute containing the file path, but I have not yet attempted to convert it to an Oriented Imagery layer.

Have the performance problems been resolved?

Hi,

For the moment, I stop using oriented imagery in Exb which use an old oic technology and I'm waiting the next generation oriented imagery widget for Exb.

I Hope this new year.

While this is not Oriented Imagery (OIC), here are 360° and standard photo and video Experience Builder widgets that handle large volumes of imagery and are available in the Esri Marketplace:

You can store your photos and videos on a server and view them directly in ArcGIS. The tools are easy to integrate with both ArcGIS Enterprise and Online, and they’re designed to be intuitive—even for users without a GIS background.

Can ESRI weigh in on this?

It's been about two years since the original poster stated that viewing an Oriented Imagery dataset crashes their browser.

Has the underlying issue been resolved by ESRI, without having to buy 3rd party tools?
