I have created a model in which a buffer is applied to several points and I would like the extents of that new buffer to be used as the rectangle extents for a 'clip raster'. When I choose the future object it gets selected fine but no xy coordinates show up because it does not know the extents yet since the model has not ran (derived data). Or if extents do show up it's just the extents of the pts file and not the buffer.
How can I get the model to recognize the rectangular extent of this buffer shapefile? I do not want to manually add the buffer shapefile in after the fact as I want to replicate this model for other projects.
