ArcGIS Pro 3.1.5: Checking the “add to display” option for the output of some tools doesn’t add them to the “Contents” pane,
For example, the output of the “calculate field” tool is not added when checking the “add to display” option. The reason is that the output of the “calculate field” tool is not a feature class but rather a field that is added to the layer above.
It would be great if checking the “add to display” option could be enhanced so that it adds a feature class either way, even for tools whose outputs are not feature classes. This would ensure that the output in question is added.
