I have no idea what I'm doing on GIS, but I'm learning!  If you have any suggestions for downloads or overlays that you think would be helpful for a person developing large solar farms in Texas, I would much appreciate your input.

Hi @CacheDeupree  Welcome to GeoNet, The Esri Community!  There are lots of resources and helpful people here who can help you with your question / problem. The best thing to do is locate the product your are using or an industry topic and post a question there where others with similar interest will view it.  This do can guide you:How to ask a question .  And you can find places through the top navigation under all communities.

Hi @CacheDeupree  Welcome to GeoNet.

A great resource for getting started with ArcGIS is the Esri Academy. There are hundreds of hours of courses available for free, and even more if you have a current ArcGIS subscription.

I'd recommend using the filters to see the Getting Started courses available.
