Trace tool (polygon only) has stopped working.

While working only one tool the polygon stopped drawing its nodes. I've tried every possibility if it could start working in other documents or by restarting my computer. But it is working only with the already made polygon shape files by grabbing neighbor nodes, but not in new shape file.

I am not sure what the problem is.  The instructions seem to specify the details and limitations.  You will have to be more explicit what exactly you are trying to do and what isn't working with respect to the information in the help topic.

I recreated and have digitized my map. Its working now. I think the Georefereces were not correct or something related to it. But it is working now. Thankyou for you help.

Multiple times I've experienced the trace tool failing to snap to vertices in 10.2.1 and not as often in 10.3 .My solution has been to abandon the mxd and recreate it.
