I have a list of meter locations from a rural water system. The coordinates are in lat/long.  How can I type in lat/long in arcmap and have it show me that location? Any help will be greatly appreciate.

ok...just noticed this. When I changed locator service, I get an error. I connected to a state address locator, and it works if I use format w93.xxxxx, n35.xxxxx

As long as it works for you.  Sorry it took so long to get it working for you.

Have you tried the Go to XY tool? Should be part of the "Tools"  toolbar. The little black triangle pointing down is where you can change the units of the coordinates you want to input.

Wow I knew there was a better tool but for the life of me I couldn't think of it, I've gotten so use to the address locator bar for quick navigation.  My bad on not remembering that one sooner
